Here are our characters: wide (under) and thin (above).
We try to make the plates with the wide letters.
When the requested plates have chracters that are too much we use the thin ones.
This is where we put the blank plates and character dies.
Every character die has a small spring (In our example, behind the blue E).
When the two dies are pressed they leave no space between and the character (here the E) is embossed.
Here, we put the characters like you requested.
We will put the blank license plate between the two dies (see below).
Your plate is now ready to be embossed.
We slide the plate and character dies into the emboss machine.
We only have to press a button.
Look the springs are still open (there is still place between the dies).
Button pressed. The machine now embosses the blank plate.
Look at the springs, now they are closed. The dies are now pressed and the aluminium plate will be embossed with the requested letters.
The letters are correctly embossed.
The plate is done, now all we need to do is color the print on the plate.
This is the color machine.
We put the color on the machine rollers and the plate goes into it.
The machine only puts the color on the embossed areas.
Four or five times under the color machine and the plate is done.
We can not touch the plate yet. The paint is fresh, the plate must be heated.
After 10 minutes the plate is done and is ready to be sent to you.
